Kati Kasza (pronounced 'Cottie Cossa') has the courage to do what most other people only dream about: she followed her passion and in just a few short years she has
transformed her dream into reality. Kati is the founder of evolu Botanical Skincare of
New Zealand.
The success of the evolu range may well have taken root in Kati's childhood. Kati comes from
a family who embraced risk, adventure and trying new things. Her parents came to
New Zealand from Hungary in 1950. Her mother is a horticulturist and herbalist and
her father was a winemaker. Their appreciation of fine natural ingredients and the power
of nature passed on to their daughter at a young age. Plants and herbs uncommon in
New Zealand at the time were part of the daily fare in the Kazsa household.
evolu Botanical Skincare has come a very long way from its humble beginnings. Kati's first steps into skincare arose from her frustration at not being able to find a product to resolve the
problems that plagued her skin while working as an international flight attendant.
At home in her kitchen she began experimenting with natural ingredients to solve her skincare dilemmas. The results pleased her and subsequently so impressed her fellow flight crew
that she began making her special potions for them too.
Spurred by ever-growing demand, her personal vision and entrepreneurial spirit, Kati decided to use her own acquired knowledge and
develop her range into a commercial brand of natural plant-derived skincare. Today, evolu Botanical Skincare products are created in a professional laboratory, yet each product is still inspired, cutomized and perfected by the company’s founder.
